As noted below for several years now the Wells Foundation has sponsored a fundraising concert in partnership with the University of Minnesota Health Sciences Orchestra.  Proceeds are donated to groups focused on ending homelessness among veterans.

Look for further information in the months ahead regarding this year's concert in November 2017.

Honoring Our Veterans

November 13, 2016, 2:00 pm

Please join the Wells Foundation and the University of Minnesota Health Sciences Orchestra – with special guest piano soloist Elise Kartheiser - at our 5th annual Veteran's Day concert to raise money for efforts to help end homelessness among veterans in the Twin Cities.

Orchestra with name

In past years the Foundation and Orchestra raised over $15,000 for veteran programs targeted at homelessness. The program will include the final two movements (Adagio and Allegro) from the 2nd Piano Concerto of Sergei Rachmaninoff and an arrangement of America the Beautiful by Katharine Lee Bates and Samuel A. Ward.

The concert is free. A donation will be collected at the concert. Individuals and corporations can also contribute in advance, and names of a veteran of their choice will be listed in the program. Differing levels of donations and recognition are available. All donations will be used by Wells Foundation to support homeless veterans in the Twin Cities.
